Saving Africa’s Vultures
Earlier this year, DHL partnered with Vulpro to transport 160 Cape and African White-backed vultures from Hartbeespoort to Shamwari Game Reserve, covering 1,042 km in 18 hours. This 16-month project, Africa’s largest vulture relocation, involved 50 people. DHL managed logistics and security, while WeWild Africa loaded the birds and provided transport crates.
