The SAPICS Annual Golf Day has become an anticipated event on the calendar for the SAPICS community. The 2023 Golf Day is guaranteed not to disappoint with a great lineup of activities and entertainment planned for the day as well as the opportunity to join for a coaching session with a PGA Pro if you can't attend the whole day! The SAPICS Golf Day has something for everyone!

Time: Tee-off time 11:00 am (shotgun start)
Format: 4 Ball Alliance 2 scores to count
Cost Per Four-Ball:
R 4 250.00 ex. VAT
SAPICS Corporate Members Special Discount R3,900 excl. VAT
Includes: Green fees, lunch voucher including one soft drink, players' welcome gifts, evening meal and entertainment.
Individual Players:
R 1 060.00 ex. VAT
Includes: Green fees, lunch voucher including one soft drink, players welcome gifts, evening meal and entertainment. We will make every effort to allocate individual players in customised four balls. Players will understand that In some instances this may not be possible.
Dinner Only:
R 300.00 ex. VAT
Includes: The opportunity to enjoy a meal with players and other guests at the end of the golf day. A buffet dinner will be served. Drinks for own account. There will also be the opportunity to enjoy a fun quiz and win prizes!
Hole Sponsorship:
R 5 000.00 ex. VAT per hole
The sponsorship fee includes:
- The sponsor's logo on 1 social media post by SAPICS across multiple platforms as well as on the SAPICS website, golf day communication and on banners at the event.
- 1 individual membership of SAPICS for a full calendar year (full details at www.sapics.org.za)
- 2 seats at the evening dinner including a buffet supper and the opportunity to participate in a fun quiz! Drinks are not included.
Drinks Cart Sponsor: R10,000 ex. VAT
The sponsorship fee includes:
- Selected soft drinks and beers to fill the cart to serve to players during the day
- The sponsor's logo on 2 social media posts by SAPICS across multiple platforms as well as on the SAPICS website, golf day communication and on banners at the event.
- 2 individual memberships of SAPICS for a full calendar year (full details at www.sapics.org.za)
- 4 seats at the evening dinner including a buffet supper and the opportunity to participate in a fun quiz! Drinks are not included.
Caddies:
Caddies are available for a minimum of R270 (inc VAT) per caddy and can be booked through the ProShop on arrival. Golfers are welcome to tip them more at their own discretion.

Golf Carts:
There are golf carts onsite at R400.00 per cart (including VAT) and can be booked directly with the ProShop on +27 (0) 11 608 2033/4 or at the time of booking with the event organisers at Upavon.
Golf Pro Lesson:
R250 including VAT for one full hour

Join this exceptional opportunity to have a full-hour group lesson with an experienced Golf Pro! Fanie Viljoen is a registered PGA Pro with over 25 years of coaching experience. Over the years he has helped over 30 young players become provincial golfers and over 17 club champions. For the last 4 years he has been coaching the Number one ranked golfer on the ladies' circuit – Kyra van Kan!

About the course:
This year's course, the Modderfontein Golf Course consistently rates in the top 60 of South African golf courses. Measuring the length of 6651 meters the par of the course is 72. The layout is on a parkland setting and has firm greens with tree-lined fairways. These elements combined with challenging strategic bunkering provide an excellent test of golf even for the most accomplished golfer. Modderfontein Golf Course is a challenging course with 12 holes where water is in play – whether directly in front of the Greens or parallel to the fairways. Each of the 18 holes has its own unique feature.
