SAPICS members are invited to attend a site visit at Bearing Man Group, in Jeppestown, Johannesburg on the 6th December 2023 from 16h00 to 18h30

Bearing Man Group (BMG) was established nearly 50 years ago as a single-bearing shop in Durban, South Africa. With a focus on logistics and with an aggressive growth strategy, our branch network has grown to almost 100 branches across Africa. BMG World, our world-class distribution facility in Johannesburg, serves as our hub from which we support 70 000 customers in 15 countries with the widest range of industrial-engineered products and expert services in the Sub-Saharan region

At this site visit members will witness various areas of the BMG warehouse, from receiving to sorting, the conveyor system and distribution process.

Only 30 members can be accommodated so please book soon.

There will be a chance to interact with the BMG team and other members before and after a tour of the facility. Soft drinks and light snacks will be served.

Visitors will need to bring their own safety shoes and vests will be provided.
